‘태백에 사랑의 마음을 전하세요’라는 취지로 진행되는 이번 홍보 행사는 고향사랑 기부제를 통한 지역경제 활성화와 세액 공제, 답례품 제공 등의 제도를 홍보하며 시 지역 특산품도 판매할 계획이다.

이에 앞서 시는 2023년 시행되는 고향사랑 기부제 시행을 위해 지난 13일 「태백시 고향사랑기부금 모금 및 운용에 관한 조례」를 입법예고 했다.

시 관계자는 “고향사랑 기부제는 우리 태백시와 출향시민들을 이어주는 소중한 계기가 될 것으로 기대한다”며 “기부를 해주신 분들의 소중한 마음과 우리시와의 인연을 잘 이어갈 수 있도록 답례품 선정과 기부금 사용 등에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
