[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 4월 11일부터 오는 29일까지 동해시가 장애인 복지급여 신규수급자 발굴 기간으로 정하고 사각지대를 대상으로 집중 발굴에 나선다고 밝혔다.

장애인 복지급여 종류에는 장애인연금, 장애수당, 장애아동수당이 있으며, 시는 집중 발굴 기간 동안 동 행정복지센터 및 장애인복지기관 등과 협력해 가정방문 등 적극적인 복지급여 신청 홍보를 실시할 계획이라고 했다.

장애인연금은 만 18세 이상의 등록한 중증장애인 중 본인과 배우자의 소득인정액이 선정기준액 이하가 대상이며, 장애수당은 만 18세 이상의 등록한 중증장애인에 해당하지 않는 자 중 기초생활보장수급자 및 차상위계층이 해당되고, 또, 장애아동수당은 만 18세 미만의 등록한 장애인 중 기초생활보장 수급자 및 차상위계층이 대상이 된다고 했다. 

현재 동해시에는 장애인연금 수급자가 850명으로 월20,000원~387,500원, 장애수당 수급자가 1,200명으로 월40,000원, 장애아동수당 수급자가 32명으로 월30,000원~220,000원의 급여를 받고 있다고 했다.

장애인 복지급여 신청과 관련해 보다 자세한 내용은 주소지 동 행정복지센터 또는 시청 복지과 장애인복지팀으로 문의 하면 된다고 전했다.

권순찬 복지과장은 “지역의 기관·주민이 함께 주변의 어려운 이웃을 지속 발굴·지원해 행복한 동해시를 만들어나가도록 하겠다”고 말했다.
