명예사회복지공무원은 무보수 명예직으로 사각지대에 놓인 어려운 이웃들의 안부를 묻고, 조종면 맞춤형 복지팀에 연계하여, 공적서비스 및 민간기관에 도움을 요청하는 역할을 한다고 했다.  

명예사회복지공무원 이OO과 백OO은 치매어르신과 결연대상자를 모시고 결연자 두 분에게 식사 대접하며 마음을 전하고,“코로나19로 인해 모두가 힘든 상황이지만 결연가구에 안부확인과 후원물품을 제공할 수 있는 기회를 주어 감사드리며, 앞으로도 적극적인 참여와 더불어 살아가는 조종면이 될 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다. 

조종면장(권택순)은 “무보수 명예직임에도 불구하고 복지사각지대  발굴 및 해소에 도움을 주셔서 감사하며, 사회적 인적자원 및 행정지원을 넓혀 복지정책에 소외되는 이웃들이 없도록 노력하겠다”고 전했다.
