[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 4일, 가평군은 가평군지역사회보장협의체 '제9기 대표협의체 위원 위촉식'을 가졌다고 밝혔다. 

2022년 새롭게 구성된 제9기 대표협의체 위원은 총24명이며, 당연직 위원을 제외한 12명의 위촉직 위원에 대하여 이 날 위촉장 전수 및 임원 선출, 지역사회보장협의체 교육 순으로 회의가 진행되었다고 했다. 

이 날 회의에서 가평군수와 함께 2년 동안 가평군 지역사회보장협의체를 이끌어 갈 민간공동위원장으로는 유근웅 현,대표협의체 위원장이 재선출 되었고, 이에 유근웅 위원장은 “2년간 협의체에서 위원장직을 수행하며 코로나로 인하여 위원님들과 자주 대면회의를 진행하지 못했음에 아쉽고 죄송한 마음이었는데 다시 한번 직을 맡겨주심에 깊은 감사를 드리며 앞으로 군협의체와 읍면협의체가 협력하여 소외계층 발굴 및 지역복지 발전에 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다. 

김성기 가평군수는 “다양한 분야에서 가평군 복지증진에 중추적인 역할을 하고 계신 위원님들이 제9기 대표협의체 위원으로 위촉되심을 축하드리며, 도움의 손길이 미치지 않는 곳까지 복지사각지대 발굴·지원에 애써주시길 바란다‘고 당부했다.
