[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 3월 14일, 홍천읍 이장협의회와 여성의용소방대는 산불예방 결의대회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이장협의회 회원 70여명은 남산주차장에서 기우제 및 산불예방 결의대회를 실시했으며, 여성의용소방대 회원 30여명은 홍천읍 행정복지센터 및 홍천터미널에서 봄철 농산물 폐기물 소각 및 대형 산불 위험 예방을 홍보했다고 전했다.

한인용 홍천읍장은 “우리지역의 산불예방을 위해 각 마을의 대표인 이장과 의용소방대원들이 적극적으로 협조해 주셔서 감사드린다”며 “주민들을 대표해 산불 방지를 위한 총력을 기울여 달라”고 말했다.
