[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 17일, 홍천읍 태학리 주민들은 홍천읍 행정복지센터를 방문, 어려운 이웃돕기 성금 200만원을 전달했다고 밝혔다. 

성금은 김일수 이장과 이순재 노인회장, 변진록 부녀회장이 주민 대표로 전달했고, 이번 성금은 홍천읍 지역사회보장협의체를 통해 지역주민을 위한 다양한 사업 추진에 사용될 예정이라고 전했다.

김일수 이장은 “주민들이 십시일반 모은 성금을 이웃사랑 실천의 마음을 담아 기탁하게 됐다”며 “소외된 이웃들에게 보탬이 되었으면 좋겠다”고 말했다.

한인용 홍천읍장은 “어려운 시기에 기부를 해주신 태학리 주민들에게 감사드린다”며 “나눔 활동은 주민들에게 큰 귀감이 될 것으로 생각한다”고 말했다.
