[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 홍천읍 이장협의회가 홍천읍 행정복지센터를 방문, 지역 내 어려운 이웃들을 위한 성금 100만원을 전달했다고 밝혔다. 

기부금은 강원도 사회복지공동모금회를 통해 진압읍 지역사회보장협의체 특화사업 및 저소득층을 위해 사용될 예정이라고 했다.

김영봉 회장은 “홍천읍 이장단의 뜻을 모아 성금을 마련하였으며 이웃사랑 실천마음이 소외된 이웃들에게 고스란히 전달되면 좋겠다”고 말했다.

한인용 홍천읍장은 "평소에도 주민들을 위해 헌신하시는 이장단원들이 매년 잊지 않고 성금을 기부해주심에 감사드리며 나눔활동은 주민들에게 큰 귀감이 될 것으로 생각한다"고 말했다.
