코로나19 확진자 지속에 따라 사회적 거리두기 4단계 시행으로 이번 집중 환경정비는 방역 지침을 준수하여 자생단체별 최소한의 인원으로 조별 편성하여 시행했으며, 바르게살기운동위원회 주도로 가재울교차로부터 의여중·고를 거쳐 신촌교차로 주변까지 약 1km에 이르는 구간에 무성하게 자란 도로변 잡초 제거 작업을 집중적으로 실시하였으며, 주민센터 주변, 이면도로 등 무단 투기된 쓰레기들을 수거하여 깨끗한 거리를 조성했다고 했다.

홍승의 가능동장은 “폭염이 끝나자마자 마을 내 환경정화를 위해 적극적으로 협조해주신 바르게살기운동위원회 위원분들께 감사드린다. 관내 도로변과 인도의 제초와 청소를 주기적으로 실시해 깨끗한 거리가 유지될 수 있도록 함께 노력하겠다.”고 말했다.
