[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 3일 (사)포천시새마을회는 읍·면·동 새마을부녀회에 추석맞이 읍면동 송편 나누기 쌀을 전달했다고 밝혔다.

농협중앙회 포천시지부, 포천축산업협동조합, 윤인숙 포천시새마을회이사 등으로부터 10kg 쌀 112포를 기부 받아 진행된 이번 나눔은 민족대명절 추석을 맞아 14개 읍·면·동 새마을회에서 소외계층에게 전달할 계획이라고 했다.

이경묵 회장은 “코로나19로 힘든 시기에 많은 쌀을 지원할 수 있어 기쁘다.”라며 “앞으로도 상생과 협력으로 함께 잘 사는 공동체 건설을 위해 힘쓰겠다.”라고 전했다.
