[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 가평군에서는 코로나19로 인해 생활의 어려움을 겪고 있는 저소득층(기초생활수급자, 차상위계층, 한부모가족)의 생활 안정을 위해 저소득층 한시 생활지원사업을 추진하기로 했다고 밝혔다.

전국민 88%이하의 국민에게 지원하는 재난지원금과 별도로 저소득층을 위해 특별히 지원하는 사업이며, 예산은 506,000,000원 100%국비로 지원한다고 했다.

지원대상자는 기초생활수급자(생계, 의료, 주거급여), 차상위계층, 저소득한부모 가족이며, 총5,060명이라고 전했다. 

지원금은 1인당 10만원으로 보장가구 대표 계좌에 입금되며, 사회복지프로그램에 계좌가 입력된 가구는 경우 별도의 신청 없이 입력된 계좌에 지급되고, 또한 계좌가 등록되지 않는 가구는 순차적으로 개별연락하여 신청을 받을 계획이라고 했다.

가평군에서는 지급 대상자 확인 등의 절차를 거쳐 8월 24일 일괄 지급하고, 계좌 오류 등으로 지급 받지 못하는 경우 9월 15일까지 추가 정비하여 지급할 예정이라고 했다.

지병록 복지정책과장은 “코로나19로 인해 많은 국민들이 어려움을 겪고 있고, 저소득층인 기초수급자, 차상위계층, 한부모 가족은 더욱 더 어려운 생활을 이어가고 있다. 이에 국가에서 마련한 특별 재난지원금과, 저소득층 한시 생활지원사업은 코로나19로 인해 생활의 어려움을 겪고 있는 대상자들이 다시 정상적인 생활을 되찾을 수 있는 계기가 될 것이라 생각한다.”라고 얘기하였다. 가평군에서는 확정된 대상자는 물론, 누락된 대상자 또한 찾아 지원 받지 못하는 가구가 없도록 최선을 다해 사업을 추진하겠다고 밝혔다.
