안병용 의정부시장은 “역전 근린공원부지에 코로나19 예방접종센터 공사를 완료해 운영을 준비중이며 백신이 수급되어 접종을 시작하는 시기에 맞춰 모든 것이 갖춰질 수 있도록 세밀한 부분까지 준비해 달라”며 “시민들이 접종센터 위치와 접종 시기 등을 알 수 있도록 적극 홍보해 달라”고 당부했다.
 
이날 회의는 '2021년도 희망근로 지원사업 추진', '2025년 의정부시 도시관리계획 재정비', '긴급차량 우선신호시스템 구축 운영' 등 4월 주요 현안사항에 대해서 중점 논의했다고 밝혔다.
