기자: 6일 오전 9시 가평군 상판리 거접사격장 입구에서 상판리 마을주민들이 수도화기계보병사단(이하 수기사)의 전차 진입을 막기 위해 무력 시위를 펼쳤습니다.

 

이번 민·군의 충돌은 2019년 이후로 두 번째로 일어났으며, 이날 수기사는 한 개의 전차 소대의 전술 훈련을 위해 총 7대 전차를 동원해 거접사격장으로 향했으나 주민들의 거센 반발로 훈련이 저지됐습니다.

 

상판리 마을주민들은 군이 주민들 상대로 대규모 사기극을 벌여 우롱하고 분쟁을 조장해 평온했던 마을을 산산조각 냈다며, 강력히 규탄한다는 이유로 훈련을 막아섰습니다.

 

상판리 주민들이 7군단 거접 사격장 훈련을 막아선 데는 이유가 있습니다. 과거 2019년 7군단은 상판리 주민들에게 포 사격 관련 소음과 주변 환경 오염으로 인한 문제에 대해 상생을 약속하며 협약을 맺은 바 있습니다.
