[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 캠코(한국자산관리공사)는 지난 3일 국토안전관리원 수도권지사 대회의실에서 캠코 수도권서부개발처와 국토안전관리원 수도권지사가 함께 ｢건설안전관리 협업체계 구축을 위한 회의｣를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이날 회의에서는 김장래 캠코 수도권서부개발처장, 문종섭 국토안전관리원 수도권지사장 등이 참석해 수도권지역 공공개발 건설사업 현장의 안전관리 강화를 위한 공동 수행사업과 기술지원 방안 등이 논의됐다. 

양 기관은 앞으로 중․소건설사업장 대상 기관 합동 안전점검을 실시하고, 국토안전관리원의 스마트 안전장비 지원사업*에 캠코 공공개발 사업 참여를 연계하는 한편, 건설사업 안전관리 실무 역량 강화 교육 등 현장 안전 강화를 위해 긴밀한 협력관계를 유지하기로 했다.

특히, 캠코 오는 9월 예정된 건설사업장 안전 점검에 국토안전관리원 전문가를 포함한 ‘합동점검반’을 구성하기로 했으며, 이를 통해 공공개발 건설 사업장의 안전ㆍ보건관리 기능이 보다 강화되고, 건설안전 혁신을 위한 양 기관간 상호협력도 증대될 것으로 기대하고 있다.

남궁 영 캠코 공공개발본부장은 “이번 협업체계 구축을 계기로 건설현장에 대한 안전사고 위험요인 사전 예방 등 안전관리체계 전문성이 한층 제고될 것”이라며 “앞으로도 캠코 공공개발 사업이 국민과 근로자 모두에게 안전한 건설현장에서 추진될 수 있도록 기관간 협력을 확대․강화해 나갈 것”이라고 강조했다.

한편, 캠코는 지난 2005년부터 국·공유재산 위탁개발사업 45건을 성공적으로 완료해 재정절감과 국유재산 가치증대에 기여하고 있으며, 현재 국가시설ㆍ생활SOC시설 복합개발 등 1조 2,864억원 규모의 공공개발 사업 47건을 진행 중이다.
