[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동해시는 오는 17일 오후 8시 동해문화예술회관 야외공연장에서 미디어아트와 음악을 결합한 뮤지컬 형식의 다원예술 공연 「음악으로 그리는 일곱 가지 반 고흐, 별이 빛나는 밤에」 공연이 개최된다고 밝혔다.

이번 공연은 「2022년 문예회관과 함께하는 방방곡곡 문화공감사업」 민간예술단체 우수 공연 프로그램에 공모 선정으로 진행된다.

출연진은 뮤지컬배우 겸 가수 정동하, 뮤지컬배우 김소향, 이희주, 팝페라가수 손태진, 정하은과 제이케이밴드 10인조다.

공연은 세계적인 화가 빈센트 반 고흐의 작품 중 ‘아를르 포룸 광장의 카페테라스’, ‘감자 먹는 사람들’ 등 대표적인 7작품을 음악과 함께 스토리텔링하고, 미디어아트로 제작한 고흐의 200여 작품들을 뮤지컬배우와 가수 그리고 10인조 밴드의 라이브음악과 함께 감상할 수 있어, 관람객들에게 낭만적인 여름밤을 선사할 것으로 기대된다.

한편, 시는 오는 11월에도 방방곡곡 문화공감사업으로 와이즈발레단의 ‘헨젤과 그레텔’ 발레공연을 계획하고 있으며, 향후 동해예총, 동해윈드오케스트라 등 각종 단체를 통한 다양한 장르의 공연을 진행할 예정이다.

이월출 문화체육과장은 “이번 공연은 한여름 밤 야외에서 즐길 수 있는 낭만적인 공연인 만큼, 많은 시민들이 함께 참여하여 감동을 느끼고 무더위를 식히는 시간이 되었으면 좋겠다”고 밝혔다.
