[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 가평군은 가평의 문화예술 활성화하고 젊은 인구를 가평으로 유입하고자 젊은 청년들이 가평에서 활동할 수 있는 기회를 제공하는 청년예술가 가평 한달 살아보기 프로젝트 '리틀포레스트 가평'을 진행하고 있다고 밝혔다. 

지난 11월간 가평에서 활동한 5명의 청년예술가들이 모여 지난 12월 6일 부터 12월 10일까지 가평에서 활동한 결과물 전시가 진행되며, 청년예술가들은 파쿠르, 미디어아트, 그라피티, 사진, 작가(에디터) 등 서로 다른 분야에서 활동하는 예술가들로 가평이라는 낯선 공간에서 처음만나 가평과 서로를 알아가는 과정을 자신들의 장르 속에 녹여내는 작업을 진행하였다고 했다.

전시 마지막 날인 오는 12월 10일 금요일에는 경기복지재단 산하 경기 동부권역 거버넌스 청년활동가들과 가평에 거주하는 문화예술인, 그리고 '리틀포레스트 가평'으로 가평을 한달간 리서치 한 5인의 아티스트들이 만나 '예술창작환경과 문화정책'의 주제를 가지고 포럼이 열리며, 보통의 포럼과 달리 예술가의 언어로 진행될 예정이라고 하니 더욱 기대된다. 그 외에도 가평 아티스트의 연주와 '리틀포레스트 가평' 선정작가의 미디어아트 콜라보 공연도 진행될 예정이라고 했다. 

이번 포럼에서는 2020년 정식 발표되지 못한 경기도 동부권역 발제문 8개에서 뽑아낸 키워드 8가지를 기준으로 주제에 맞는 토론이 진행되고, 토론 내용을 취합하여 발제문 또는 결과를 도출하고 그것을 발표하는 형식으로 마무리 될 것이며 모든 토론 내용은 미디어 아트와 결합되어 또 다른 전시형태가 될 예정이라고 전했다.

현재 코로나19 특별방역지침이 내려진 관계로 전시는 100% 사전예약을 통해 시간별로 20명까지 관람 가능하며, 포럼은 비대면으로 관객 없이 진행이 되며 가평타임즈와 가평청년문화예술기획단 ‘담다’의 유투브 채널에서 라이브로 현장중계 할 계획이며, 관련하여 문의는 가평군청 문화체육과 문화창작팀으로 하면 된다고 했다.
