이에 양양군상수도사업소는 상수도 시설 및 급수현황, 수돗물의 공급과정, 수질검사 결과, 수질관련 용어설명, 수돗물 상식 등의 내용을 담은 수돗물 품질보고서를 발간하여 군청 민원실과 각 읍·면사무소, 공동주택 관리사무소 등에 4,000부를 배부했으며, 양양군청 홈페이지에서도 확인할 수 있다고 전했다.

전현철 상하수도사업소장은 “깨끗한 물의 척도인 탁도와 안전한 수돗물 공급을 위한 소독약품 투입 등에 대하여 연속 측정 장치를 설치하여 24시간 철저한 감시와 제어 하에 운영하고 있다”며 “앞으로도 군민들이 깨끗하고 안전한 수돗물을 마실 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
