[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 캠코(한국자산관리공사)는 6일 기획재정부가 주최하고 캠코가 주관하는 ｢나라키움 부산청년창업허브 개관식｣을 개최했다고 밝혔다. 

이날 개관식에서는 협력기관과 입주기업 관계자 50여명이 참석한 가운데 그간의 협업성과를 알리고 성공적인 출범을 기념했다.

부산청년창업허브는 캠코가 부산광역시 연제구 소재 유휴 국유재산(舊동남지방통계청)을 활용해 ‘그린 리모델링’ 방식으로 위탁 개발한 사례이다. 

지난 2020년 7월 ‘공공기관 선도 혁신도시 활성화 10대 협업과제’로 선정된 이후 캠코는 기획재정부 및 국토교통부, 부산광역시, 부산정보산업진흥원 등과 부산청년창업허브의 성공적 조성을 위해 적극적으로 협력해 왔다.

건물은 지하1층, 지상 4층으로 구성되며 청년스타트업 8개 기업이 입주한 ICT New Work Space, 클라우드 분야 우량 스타트업 기업인 베스핀글로벌테크센터(BTC), IT테스트베드실, 다목적홀, 회의실 및 교육장 등 4차 산업 혁명 분야 스타트업에 특화된 공용공간으로 구성돼 있다. 

특히, 캠코는 부산광역시, 부산정보산업진흥원과 함께 공유오피스형 창업지원 공간인 ‘ICT New Work Space’를 조성했으며, 앞으로 이곳을 활용해 4차 산업혁명 분야 청년층 창업 수요에 적극 부응하고 부산지역 청년창업 활성화를 위해 기관간 협력을 지속해 나갈 계획이다. 

아울러, 캠코는 부산청년창업허브 입주 기업의 안정적 성장 지원을 위해 사무실 임대료를 인근 시세대비 70% 수준으로 책정하여 지원할 예정이다.  

권남주 캠코 사장은 “부산청년창업허브가 4차 산업혁명 분야 청년창업을 꿈꾸는 이들에게 기회의 장이 되기를 기대한다”면서, “앞으로도 캠코는 민․관․공의 지속적 협업을 통해 혁신창업 생태계 조성과 지역경제 활성화에 기여해 나갈 것”이라고 밝혔다. 

한편, 캠코는 지난 2019년 서울 강남구 역삼동에 유휴 국유재산(舊KTV사옥)을 활용한 ‘나라키움 청년창업허브’를 개관했다. 이를 통해 약 400명의 창업인, 스타트업 등에 대한 성장 단계별 지원을 통해 청년창업 활성화 및 혁신 창업 생태계 조성을 지원하고 있다.
