[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 평창군이 2023년도 지역현안사업 추진을 위한 국비확보 노력에 적극적으로 나서고 있다고 밝혔다.

군은 지난 1일, 심재국 군수 주재로 2023년도 군정 주요 현안사업 추진을 위한 국도비 확보 대책보고회를 개최해 주요 사업의 추진상황을 점검하고 향후 대응방안을 집중 논의했으며 주요사업은 평창 평화 테마파크 조성, 하송빈 농어촌마을 하수도 증설, 물환경 체험센터 조성, 횡계천 비점오염 저감사업, 평창 동계스포츠 과학센터 설립 등이고 3일 기획재정부를 방문해 주요 지역현안사업에 대해 직접 설명하고 건의자료를 전달하며 내년 국비 지원 요청을 했다.

심재국 평창군수는 “지역주민의 불편을 해소하고, 지역별 균형발전과 침체된 지역경기의 활성화를 위해 중앙부처, 국회, 관계기관 등과 긴밀히 공조하여 내년 주요 지역현안사업들이 정부예산에 최대한 반영될 수 있도록 최선의 노력을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.
