[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 4월 27일, 북부지방산림청은 북부지방산림청 대회의실에서 수도권 내 국가산림복지시설의 효율적인 운영·관리 및 양질의 산림복지서비스 제공 방안 등의 논의를 위한 국가 산림복지서비스 수도권역 협의체 상반기 정기회의를 실시했다고 밝혔다.

국가 산림복지서비스 수도권역 협의체는 '국가 산림복지서비스 권역별 협의체 구·운영에 관한 규정'에 따라 산림복지서비스 제공 업무에 대한 효율적인 정보 공유와 기관 간 유기적인 협력체계를 강화하기 위하여 구성·운영된 국가 산림복지서비스 권역별 협의체 중 하나이며, 국가 산림복지서비스 수도권역 협의체 구성원은 북부지방산림청, 5개 국유림관리소, 국립자연휴양림관리소(북부지역·동부지역팀), 국립춘천·횡성 숲체원, 양평치유의숲, 하늘숲추모원으로 구성되었고, 기관 간 협력과 산림복지서비스의 활성화를 위하여 반기별 1회 이상 정기회의를 개최한다고 전했다.

이날 협의회에서는 코로나19 감염병 등급이 2급으로 한 단계 내려가면서 본격적인 일상회복이 시작됨에 따라 외출·여행 등 산림복지 서비스 수요 급증을 대비하여 양질의 산림치유 환경 조성 등에 대한 기관별 업무 노하우를 공유하고 향후 업무 개선 방안, 소통·협력사항에 대하여 논의하였다고 했다.

최수천 북부지방산림청장은 “국립산림복지시설이 코로나19로 위축된 사회 분위기를 극복하고 국민건강 증진을 위한 공간이 될 수 있도록  적극행정을 추진하여 이용 기회 확대 및 능동적인 산림치유(교육) 서비스 제공 등에 최선을 다할 것이다.”라고 말했다.
