[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 4월 11일부터, 의정부시는 주민자치 역량 강화를 위해 주민자치 아카데미를 권역별로 운영하고 있다고 밝혔다.

이번 교육은 관내 약 430여 명의 주민자치위원을 대상으로 한 올해 첫 교육과정으로 주민자치회가 당면한 과제의 성공적인 수행을 위해 전문 강사를 동원했으며, 코로나19 방역 수칙 준수 및 밀집의 최소화를 위해 권역별 순회 교육으로 진행되고, 교육은 1일 5시간씩 3회로 총 15시간 실시하며, 이번 1회차 교육은 지난 4월 11일부터 15일까지 총 185명의 위원이 참여하고, 오는 4월 18일부터 22일까지는 2회차, 마지막 3회차 교육은 6월 지방선거 이후로 진행될 예정이라고 전했다.
