기존 아동수당을 받다가 만7세 생일이 도래하여 지급이 중단된 경우, 별도 신청없이 4월에 1~3월분 소급하며, 다만 보호자나 계좌변경, 아동수당 지급 이력이 없는 신규 신청자인 경우 사전 신청 기간인 오는 2월 9일부터 3월 31일까지 신청해야 하고, 신청인은 아동의 보호자 또는 보호자의 대리인(보호자의 친족 등)이라고 했다.

아동의 주민등록 주소지 읍면동 행정복지센터에 직접 방문해 아동수당을 신청하면 되고 자세한 문의는 보건복지상담센터 또는 주소지 읍면동행정복지센터로 하면 된다고 했다.
