[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동해시가 ‘2030 동해시 공원녹지 기본계획안’에 대한 주민의견 청취를 위해 공청회를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

오는 6월 29일 오후 2시 평생교육센터 대강당에서 개최되는 이번 공청회는 관련법에 따라, 2030 동해시 공원녹지 기본계획 수립을 위하여 주민 또는 관계전문가 등으로부터 의견을 청취하는 행정절차라고 했다.

이날 공청회에서는 용역사 대표, 강릉원주대 교수, 백두대간보존회 회장, 전국자연보호협회 강원본부장, 동해 환경사랑회 회장 등 조경·환경계획, 도시녹지·조경계획, 산림환경생태, 자연환경 및 도시환경분야 전문가를 비롯하여 공무원, 주민이 참여한 가운데 다양한 의견을 수렴하게 된다고 했다.

앞으로 동해시는 8월까지 주민 의견서 접수, 관계부서 협의 및 의회 의견 청취, 강원도 도시계획위원회 심의 등의 절차를 거쳐 9월 기본계획을 공고·열람 할 계획이라고 전했다.

한편, 지난해 5월부터 올 9월까지 추진되는 2030 동해시 공원녹지 기본계획 수립 용역은 시 공원 및 녹지 전역 면적 2,531,537㎡을 대상으로, 공원녹지의 장기적인 방향 및 비전·목표를 제시하고,  2030 동해시 도시기본계획의 수립내용 반영 등 실행계획을 수립하기 위해 추진된다고 했다.

심정교 녹지과장은 “이번 공청회에서 주민과 전문가의 다양한 의견을   수렴, 반영하여 내실화는 물론 완성도 있는 실행계획이 수립될 수    있도록 추진에 만전을 기하겠다”고 말했다.
