[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 양구군은 최근 지역 내에서 코로나19 확진자가 꾸준히 발생함에 따라 이에 대응하기 위해 필요한 경우 언제든지 ‘찾아가는 임시 선별진료소’를 운영하기로 밝혔다.

최근 양구지역에서 감염원 및 감염경로가 명확하지 않은 확진자가 발생하고 있어 이로 인한 추가 확산을 방지하기 위해 양구군은 확진자의 감염경로 중 다수가 모이는 장소를 선정해 임시 선별진료소를 설치한 후 PCR검사를 받기 어려운 고령의 노인 등 의료약자들을 대상으로 검사를 실시하기로 했으며, 이에 따라 양구군은 지난 15일 동면의 각 마을회관을 순회하면서 200여 명의 주민들을 대상으로 PCR검사를 실시했다고 전했다.

양구군은 당일 검체 건에 대한 검사결과를 신속하게 받기 위해 매일 오전과 오후 등 2차례 수거해 검사를 의뢰하고 있으며, 또한 집단발생이 우려되는 등의 긴급한 상황에는 강원도보건환경연구원 등에 수시로 의뢰하고, 지역 내 노인요양시설 등 의료취약시설에 신속 항원검사 키트를 배부해 의심자에 대한 신속한 초기 대응과 철저한 후속 조치를 실시하는 등 확진자의 추가 발생 방지를 위해 지역사회 각계와 협력체계를 유지하고 있다고 했다.
