[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 14일 민족 대명절 추석을 앞두고, 김성기 군수는 관내 사회복지시설을 위문 차 방문했다고 밝혔다. 

이날 방문한 사회복지시설은 가평읍 소재 ‘가평사랑의 요양원’으로 노인장기 요양보험 대상 어르신이나 신체적·정신적으로 요양이 필요하신 어르신들에 대한 전반적인 서비스를 제공하는 사회복지시설이라고 했다.

시설을 방문한 김성기 군수는 요양원을 방문하여 관계자들을 격려하고 위문금을 전달했으며 “코로나19로 어려운 시기에도 복지시설 관계자들이 몸이 불편하신 어르신을 보살피고 봉사하는 노고에 감사를 드린다.”고 밝혔다. 

이에 장은주 센터장은 “추석을 맞이하여, 직접 위문을 오셔서 격려해주셔서 저를 비롯한 관계자들의 감사의 마음을 전한다.”고 전했으며 “코로나19도 빨리 종식되고 가평군민들이 행복하고 좋은 일들만 가득하기를 간절히 기원한다.”고 화답했다.

가평군 자체적으로 관내 사회복지시설 18개소에 대한 위문을 진행하고 있으며, 시설생활 인원수에 따라 차등적으로 유가증권(가평사랑상품권)이 지원 될 예정이라고 군 관계자는 밝혔다.
