[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 5일 직장·공장 새마을운동 양주시협의회는 남면행정복지센터에 찾아와 어려운 이웃을 위해 써달라며 메밀국수와 전병, 만두 등 100인분의 식재료를 전달했다고 밝혔다. 

기부받은 식재료는 내 복지사각지대, 독거노인 등 도움이 필요한 소외가정에 전달될 예정이라고 전했다. 

오수영 회장은 “코로나19 장기화로 어려움을 겪고 있는 이웃들과 나누고자 동참했다”며 “앞으로도 지역발전을 위한 사회공헌활동을 이어가겠다”고 밝혔다.

강석원 면장은 “지역 내 취약계층을 위해 나눔의 가치를 실천해 준 직장·공장 새마을운동 양주시협의회 관계자에게 감사하다”며 “이번 기부를 통해 관내 소외 이웃들에게 따뜻한 위로가 되길 바란다”고 말했다.
