[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 25일 포천시 창수면주민자치위원회는 6월 호국 보훈의 달을 기념해 관내 6․25 참전유공자 어르신 8명에게 건강보조식품을 전달했다고 밝혔다.

이번 건강보조식품 전달은 6.25 참전유공자의 희생을 잊지 말자는 취지에서 창수면 주민자치위원장 및 위원들이 정성을 담아 준비한 건강보조식품을 전달했다고 했다.

김계만 위원장은 “국가를 위해 헌신하신 분들에게 감사의 마음을 전하고, 나라를 사랑하는 마음을 고취시키고자 선물을 준비하게 되었다. 오래오래 건강하게 지내시기를 바란다.”라고 말했다.

창수면주민자치위원회는 2015년부터 매년 6.25 참전유공 어르신을 대상으로 안보 견학 및 이‧미용 봉사 등을 실시하는 등 호국영웅들에 대한 감사의 마음을 전하고 있다고 전했다.
