[서종협 기자=평창군] 평창군(군수 심재국)은 민선8기 출범 2023년도 첫 본예산안을 올해5,603억 보다 455억 원이 증가한 6,058억 원으로 편성하여 평창군의회에 제출했다고 밝혔다.

이중 일반회계가 313억 원 증액된 5,373억 원, 상수도공기업특별회계를 비롯한 특별회계가 142억 원 증액된 685억 원으로 편성했다.

일반회계 기능별 세출총괄로 보면 농림해양수산 분야 1,140억 원(21.22%)으로 가장 큰 비중을 차지했고, 사회복지 분야 983억 원(18.3%), 문화및관광 분야 625억 원(11.64%), 환경 분야 448억 원(8.35%), 국토및지역개발 분야 383억 원(7.13%) 등으로 편성했다.  

심재국 평창군수는 “내년도 예산안은 민선8기 출범에 따른 하나된 평창, 행복한 군민을 위한 공약사업, 주요 현안사업 추진 기반 마련에 중점을 두고 편성했다”며, “지역 균형발전, 지역경제 회복, 지역 활력화 등 모두를 위한 재정운영을 통해 군민 삶의 질 향상을 위해 행정력을 총동원할 계획이다.”라고 말했다.
