[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원]서태원 가평군수는 지난 31일 한강유역환경청을 방문해 조희송 한강유역환경청장을 만나 지역 현안사항에 대한 적극적인 협조를 요청했다.

이날 서 군수는 한강수계관리기금 추가확보 및 중첩규제로 인한 지역주민의 피해해소 등 현안사항에 대한 협조를 요청하였다고 밝혔다.

서태원 군수는 “앞으로도 한강수계 수질 보전과 지역경제 활성화라는 두 마리 토끼를 잡을 수 있도록 가평군과 한강유역환경청이 긴밀한 협조 관계를 유지하여 ‘자연을 경제로 꽃피우는 도시 가평’을 만들어 나갈 것”이라고 말했다.
