[김준호 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 24일 오후 2022년 을지연습으로 태백소방서, 육군 제8087부대 2대대, 군사경찰 특임대, EHCT 등 유관기관 100여 명이 참가한 가운데 신태백변전소에서 합동 테러 대비 대응 실제훈련을 실시했다.

이날 훈련은 정체불명의 테러범에 의한 신태백발전소 테러, 화재발생 상황을 가정해 상황전파, 테러진압, 화재진화, 응급복구 등 비상상황 대응 역량 강화 훈련을 진행했다.

훈련에는 한국전력 태백전력지사, 태백경찰서, 태백소방서, 육군 제8087부대 2대대, 군사경찰 특임대, EHCT 등 유관기관 100여 명이 참가했다.

이상호 시장은 “이번 실제 훈련을 계기로 한층 강화된 민·관·군·경 공조체계를 구축해 시민들의 소중한 생명과 재산을 보호하는데 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 시는 지난 22일 을지연습 첫날 새벽 6시 전 공무원 비상소집을 시작으로 오는 25일까지 3박 4일간 ‘2022년 을지연습’을 시 전역에서 실시하고 있다.
