[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동해시의회는 지난 29일 대한노인회 동해시지회 임원들과 간담회에 참석하여 대화와 소통의 시간을 가졌다고 밝혔다.

이번 간담회에서는 제9대 동해시의회 의원 8명과 대한노인회 동해시지회 임원 및 직원 등 30여명이 참석했으며, 어르신들의 삶의 질 향상과 노인회 활성화를 주제로 다양한 의견을 교환했다.

최종수 노인회장은 “제9대 동해시의회의 출발을 축하드리며, 앞으로 노인회와 자주 소통하여 의원들이 관내 거주하는 어르신의 생활복지에 특별한 관심을 가지고 애로사항 해소에 힘써 주시길 바란다”고 말했다.

이동호 의장은 간담회를 마무리하며 “오늘 이자리를 통해 제시된 의견들은 집행부서 및 관련 기관에 전달하고 협의하는 등 어르신들의 더 나은 생활을 위해 성심껏 노력하는 제9대 동해시의회가 되겠다”고 말했다.
