[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동해시의회는 4일 동해시의회 2층 소회의실에서 의정역량 강화 교육을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 의정역량강화 교육은 제9대 동해시의회의 의정활동 방향을 검토하고 다양한 전문지식을 함양하기 위하여 초선의원 등을 대상으로 진행됐다고 했다. 

교육은 지방의회 운영 방법론을 중심으로 회기, 회의, 안건별 운영방식 등에 대해 집중적으로 살펴보는 시간으로 구성했다고 전했다. 

동해시의회는 “의원들의 역량강화는 전문적인 의정활동을 위해서 필수적”이라며 “특히 이번에 마련한 교육은 지방자치법 전면개정으로 지방의회 운영에 변동되는 내용이 많아 초선의원들의 기본 소양 함양에 큰 도움이 될 것으로 보인다”고 말했다.
