[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동해시의회는 7월 20일 제322회 동해시의회 임시회 제4차 업무보고회를 개최하고, 안전과, 허가과, 건설과, 도시과, 도시재생과, 환경과, 교통과, 녹지과, 상하수도사업소 등 9개 부서에 대한 업무보고를 청취했다.

안성준 의원은 “일상생활 주변에서 접하는 안전 위험요인을 국민들이 간편하게 신고하고 처리결과를 확인할 수 있는 ‘안전신문고’ 서비스를 널리 홍보하여 생활안전도시 조성에 노력해달라”고 주문했다.

정동수 의원은 “심야 시간 어둡고 인적이 드물며, 안전에 다소 취약한 지역에 대한 철저한 전수조사로, 반드시 필요한 지역에 생활 밀착형 CCTV가 설치되어 보행자에게 심리적 안정감을 주고, 범죄자에게는 경각심을 주어 범죄예방에 기여하기를 바란다”고 지적했다.

김향정 의원은 “민방위 시설 및 재난관리자원 사전점검, 재난안전종사자 전문교육 실시 등 재난안전 관리시스템을 정비하고 유관기관과의 협업체계를 강화하여 예방중심의 선제적 재난안전관리 체계 구축을 도모해야한다”고 강조했다.

최명관 의원은 “재해위험지역 정비 시, 누락되는 구간이 없도록 급경사지 전수조사를 실시하는 등 재해위험지역의 체계적 정비로 인명과 재산피해를 사전에 예방해야한다”고 강조했다.

최이순 의원은 “우리시 주거형태의 72%가 공동주택임에도 불구하고, 노후 공동주택 주거환경 개선사업 예산규모가 작아 쾌적한 주거환경 조성에 어려움이 있을 것으로 보인다. 예산 증액을 적극적으로 검토해야한다”고 요청했다.

이창수 의원은 “망상골프장 조성사업과 관련해서 최근 변경사항이 반영되지 않은 자료를 제출한 것 같다. 진정한 협치는 집행부의 성실한 자료제출에서부터 시작된다고 생각하며, 앞으로 의회와의 성실한 소통을 기대하겠다”고 독려했다.
