[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 김동연 더불어민주당 경기도지사 예비후보의 자전적 이야기가 담긴 ‘김동연의 웹자서전’이 전격 공개됐다고 전했다.

25일 김동연 캠프는 김 후보의 SNS, 블로그를 통해 ‘김동연의 웹자서전 1화 – 그리운 아버지’ 편을 공개하고, 본격 시리스 연재에 돌입한다고 밝혔다.

‘김동연의 웹자서전’은 매주 2차례씩(월요일, 목요일) 총 10회에 걸쳐 김 후보의 페이스북과 인스타그램, 블로그 등을 통해 연재될 예정이라고 전했다.

이날 첫 공개된 1탄 ‘그리운 아버지’ 편은 김 후보가 11살이 되던 해 서른 셋의 젊은 나이에 아내와 4명의 자식을 두고 세상을 떠난 아버지에 대한 기억으로 시작된다고 했다.

이어 아버지가 돌아가신 후 판잣집과 천막을 전전하며 끼니를 걱정하고, 장남으로서 아버지의 빈자리를 대신해 ‘가장’의 무게를 견뎌야 했던 힘겨운 어린 시절의 기억과 함께 아버지에 대한 사무친 그리움, 아버지 산소를 이장하면서 눈물로 아버지에게 속마음을 털어놓았던 일화 등이 담겼다고 했다.

김 후보는 아버지를 ‘엄격하지만 어려운 이들을 도왔던 효자’라고 기억하면서, “어려워도 그렇게 어려울 수가 없었다”라고 과거를 회상했다.

이어 자신을 ‘일찍 직장생활을 시작해 남들에 비해 빨리 철이 들어 겉으로는 의연하고 다부진 청년’이라고 묘사한 뒤 “가슴 밑바닥에 돌아가신 아버지와 대화를 나누고 싶다는 간절한 바람이 늘 사무치게 있었다”고 고백하기도 했다.

김동연 캠프 관계자는 “아버지를 일찍 여의고 판자집과 천막을 전전하면서도 꿈을 잃지 않고 노력했던 김 후보의 삶을 도민들에게 널리 알리고자 웹자서전 연재를 시작하게 됐다”라며 “매주 2차례씩 시리즈로 연재되는 웹자서전에 대한 많은 관심을 부탁한다”고 말했다.
