[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강릉시는 일자리를 찾는 저소득층 주민의 자립․자활을 돕기 위해 26억의 예산으로 2022년 자활지원계획을 수립해 운영한다고 밝혔다.

현재 강릉시 자활사업은 강릉지역자활센터에 위탁‧운영하여, 근로 능력이 있는 저소득층 주민의 취‧창업을 위해 14개 자활근로사업단과 5개 자활 기업을 운영 중이며 월평균 160여 명의 주민이 참여하고 있다고 했다.

특히, 지난해부터 새롭게 시작한 공유차량관리(세차)사업단은 안정적인 매출을 올리고 있고 소독방역사업단은 최근 지역아동센터 11개소에 무료 소독 방역 서비스를 실시하는 등 나눔 실천에 앞장서고 있다고 했다.

2022년에는 유통판매사업단(자활생산품 판매)과 청소사업단을 신설해 다양한 일자리 자활사업단에 참여 할 수 있도록 했다고 전했다.

자활사업에 참여를 희망하는 저소득계층 주민은 주소지 읍면동주민센터를 통해 연중 신청이 가능하며, 자활 사례관리 및 자활역량평가에 따라 자활사업단에 배치된다고 했다.

이정순 생활보장과장은“각 자활사업장이 감염병 예방수칙을 준수하여 안전한 일터가 될 수 있도록 하고, 참여자 맞춤형 교육과 자격증 취득 과정 개설을 통한 취업 기회 제공으로‘더불어 일하는 자활사업’을 적극 추진할 계획이다”라고 밝혔다.
