이번 사업은 오는 5월 10일부터 8월까지 매월 1회 차씩 '급식실 수납장 정리', '급식실 식재료 관리실 정리', '급식실 냉장실 정리', '급식실 냉동실 정리' 총 4회 차로 구성된 자체 제작 교육영상을 관내 어린이 급식소 대상으로 온라인으로 배포한 뒤 관련 주제로 급식실 개선 전·후 사진을 센터로 회신하는 방법으로 진행된다고 했다.

참여 방법은 의정부시어린이급식관리지원센터 카카오 채널로 회차별영상을 시청한 후 각 주제에 맞는 개선 전, 후 사진과 영상 시청 모습을 네이버 폼을 이용하여 인증하면 되며, 심사를 통해 회차별 24명에게 정리용품을 제공할 예정이라고 전했다. 

장연국 위생과장은 “코로나19로 인한 직접적인 대면이 점차 어려워지는 시국에 이번 사업을 통해 어린이 급식소가 더욱 안전하고 위생적으로 관리가 될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”라고 밝혔다.
