[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 1월 25일, 평창군산림조합이 평창장학회에 장학금 2천만 원을 기탁하였다고 밝혔다. 

평창군산림조합은 임업경영에 관한 서비스제공, 조림·육림·벌채사업, 축산농가를 위한 톱밥제조공장운영 등 평창의 산림환경조성에 기여하고 있다고 했다.

이종봉 조합장은 “코로나19 등으로 인해 어려운 상황에서도 학업에 정진하는 학생들에게 조금이나마 힘이 됐으면 좋겠다.”고 전했다. 

평창장학회 관계자는 “어려운 상황에도 장학금을 기탁해주셔서 매우 감사하게 생각한다.”며, “전달받은 따뜻한 마음이 우리 지역의 미래를 이끌 학생들에게 전해질 수 있도록 소중하게 사용하겠다.”고 말했다.
