[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 11월 26일 대한전문건설협회 가평군협의회는 가평군청을 방문, 500만원을 장학금으로 전달했다고 밝혔다.

대한전문건설협회 가평군협의회는 2014년부터 올해까지 꾸준히 장학기금과 이웃돕기성금을 기탁해왔으며, 이 금액은 총 2,200만원에 달한다고 했다.

김용문 가평군협의회장은 “코로나19로 모두 어려운 시기에 학생들이 더 나은 환경에서 교육을 받기를 바라는 마음으로 꾸준히 장학기금을 전달하고 있다.”고 말했다.

가평군은 2024년까지 지역인재 양성을 위한 장학금 300억 원 조성을 목표로 하는 가운데 현재까지 78%인 234억 원을 조성했으며, 조성된 장학기금으로 지난 2009년부터 현재까지 총 1,576명에게 21억 원의 장학금을 지원했다고 했다.
