[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 7일 포천상공회의소는 포천교육 발전과 우수인재 양성을 위한 장학기금 1천만원을 (재)포천시교육재단에 기탁했다고 밝혔다.

이민형 회장은 “‘교육이야말로 무엇과도 바꿀 수 없는 제1의 가치’라는 회원들의 뜻을 모아 지난해에 이어 기부하게 되었다.”라며, “코로나19로 모두가 힘들고 지친 상황이지만, 우리 학생들이 자신의 소중한 꿈과 희망을 마음껏 펼칠 수 있도록 앞으로도 더욱 많은 관심과 성원을 보내겠다.”라고 소감을 밝혔다.

박윤국 이사장은 “포천 상공업 진흥과 지역경제 활성화를 위해 항상 최선을 다해주시는 포천상공회의소에 진심으로 감사하다.”라며 “(재)포천시교육재단에 보내주신 귀중한 뜻이 우리 학생들에게 잘 전달될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다.”라고 전했다.
