[김준호 기자 = 삼척시] 삼척시보건소가 제14회 지방자치단체 건강증진사업 평가 2개 부문에서 우수기관으로 선정돼 보건복지부장관 표창을 수상했다.

전국 보건소를 대상으로 실시한 이번 평가에서 삼척시는 건강증진사업(종합) 부문과 新지역보건의료정보시스템(PHIS) 유공 부문에서 우수기관으로 선정되어 각각 85만 원과 320만 원의 포상금을 받았다.

시는, 생애주기별 통합건강증진사업을 지역 여건에 맞는 다양한 방법을 통해 지역주민의 건강증진을 향상시키고, 新 PHIS 통합구축 시스템 점검 활동에 적극 참여하여 시스템 안정화에 기여한 공적을 인정받았다.

삼척시보건소는 지역주민 장학생 발굴과 나눔 실천을 통한 더불어 사는 지역사회 분위기를 조성하고자 포상금 405만 원 전액을 삼척향토장학금으로 기탁했다.

김형태 건강증진과장은 “앞으로도 지역주민을 위한 건강증진사업을 적극적으로 추진하여 지역주민의 건강증진 향상에 힘쓰겠다.”고 말했다.
