[김준호 기자 = 동해시] 동해시(시장 심규언)는 코로나19 대응으로 잠정 중단됐던 보건의료 취약지 어르신들을 위한 찾아가는 이동 보건소 사업을 재개한다고 밝혔다.

이에따라 내달 2일 봉오경로당 방문을 시작으로 11월 29일까지 매주 수요일 관내 38개소 경로당 등을 순회하게 된다.

보건의료 취약지 어르신 2,500여명을 대상으로 내과․치과․한의과 진료 상담서비스와 혈압․혈당․콜레스테롤․치매검사 등 기본 건강검사, 심뇌혈관․영양․구강․감염병 예방관리를 비롯해, 

교육․홍보를 통해 포괄적 보건의료서비스 제공으로 자가관리 능력을 향상시키고, 건강한 생활 습관 형성을 유도하여 건강수명 연장에 기여한다는 방침이다.

윤경리 보건정책과장은“의료적으로 접근이 어려워 진료를 받기 힘든 의료취약계층을 위해 찾아가는 이동보건소 사업을 착실히 추진하겠다”며,“앞으로 시민을 위한 다양한 사업을 추진해 시민의 건강증진에 더욱 힘쓰겠다”고 전했다.
