[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 8월 22일부터 10월 26일까지 횡성군보건소는 관내 유치원 및 어린이집의 6~7세 미취학 아동을 대상으로 이사랑 튼튼이 치아교실을 운영한다고 밝혔다. 

이번 프로그램은 아동의 구강 건강에 대한 관심과 건강관리능력을 증진시키기 위해 올바른 구강 건강 지식을 전달하고 유아기 충치 예방 및 조기 치료를 유도하기 위해 실시되며, 구강검사, 구강보건교육, 잇솔질 실습, 전문가 불소도포 등의 프로그램으로 운영한다.

치과의사가 개인별로 구강 검사를 실시하고, 그 결과를 가정통신문으로 배부하며, 재미있는 동영상 등을 통한 구강보건교육과 스스로 해 보는 잇솔질 실습, 전문가 불소도포 등으로 구성되어 있다.

김영대 보건소장은 “이번 사업을 통해 유아기에 치과 치료보다 예방관리를 먼저 경험함으로써 치과에 대한 거부감을 완화하고, 아동들이 올바른 구강건강 생활 습관을 생활화하는데 기여하길 바란다.”고 말했다.
