[김현우 기자 = 가평군] 가평군은 경기도가 주최한 '2022년 경기도 농정업무평가'에서 도농형 시군 중 최우수 기관으로 선정돼 상장과 상금 2천만원을 받게 됐다고 전했다.

이번 수상으로 가평군은 농정업무분야 평가에 대해 2017년부터 최우수기관 3회, 우수기관 3회 등 6년 연속으로 수상하게 됐으며, 경기도내 우수 농업업무 추진 시·군으로 자리매김 하게 됐다. 

시상식은 오는 11월 10일 진행될 예정이며, 이번평가는 경기 농축산분야 업무추진에 대해 28개 분야(주요 시책사업 24, 도정기여도 3, 특수시책1) 지표에 대한 평가로 31개 시·군을 대상으로 1차 서면평가, 2차 도 담당부서 확인평가, 3차 특수시책 및 도정기여도 평가에서 고른 점수를 받은 것으로 전해졌다.

서태원 가평군수는 “6년 연속 경기도 농정업무평가에서 우수한 성적을 거둔 성과는 농업인 모두가 함께 이룬 것이며, 수도권 농업·농촌의 중심지로서 가평을 알리는 계기가 되었다”고 했다. 또한 “앞으로도 우수 농업인을 적극 발굴·육성하고 고품질 농산물 생산지원과 농축산업 소득증대를 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
