[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 속초시가 2023년 1월 ‘속초사랑상품권(카드형)’발행을 앞두고, 속초사랑상품권 가맹점을 사전 모집한다고 밝혔다.

‘속초사랑상품권’은 관내 가맹점에서만 사용 가능한 상품권으로, 위축된 지역 경제를 살리고 골목상권 활성화의 선순환 효과를 불러일으키려는 취지에서 도입된다. 

또한, 사용자의 편의성을 위해‘카드형 상품권’을 우선 발행하며, 사용자는 10% 이내의 할인 혜택을 볼 수 있고, 치솟는 물가와 위축되는 소비 심리 속에서 이러한 할인 혜택은 시민들에게 큰 호응을 얻을 것으로 기대된다. 

가맹점 신청은 오는 9월 5일부터 가능하며, 온라인 신청 또는 사업자등록증을 지참하여 방문신청(속초시청 신관 2층 ※속초시청 세무과 입구 맞은편)하면 된다.

가맹점 등록이 가능한 업종은 음식점, 주유소, 소매점 등 시민들의 생활과 밀접한 소상공인 점포이며, 일부 업종은 등록이 제한될 수 있다.

속초시 관계자는“내년 1월 속초사랑상품권 발행과 동시에 원활한 사용이 이루어질 수 있도록, 사업주들께서는 가맹점 신청에 적극 동참하여 주시기를 당부드린다.” 라고 말했다.
