[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 9일부터 10일까지 이틀간 태백시는 태백시 스포츠파크 테니스장에서 제25회 태백시협회장기 테니스대회를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

태백시테니스협회가 주최하고 태백시체육회가 주관하는 이번 대회는 14개 클럽 200여 명이 참가한 가운데 선의의 경쟁을 펼칠 예정이라고 했다.

대회 첫날인 9일 일반부, 장년부, 여성부 3개 종별 개인부 리그전이 펼쳐지며 10일에는 클럽부 단체전이 이어진다고 했다.

단체전 우승팀에게는 우승기와 상패, 부상이 주어지며 단체전 준우승팀과 개인전 우승, 준우승팀에게도 각각 상패 및 부상, 공동 3위에게는 부상이 시상된다고 했다.

시 관계자는 “대회기간동안 테니스 동호인 상호 간의 친선을 도모하고 그동안 갈고 닦은 실력을 마음껏 펼치길 바란다.” 고 말했다.
