[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 속초시가 오미크론 확산에 따른 확진자 지원관리 체계를 재구축한다고 밝혔다. 

최근 코로나19 확진환자가 연일 4-5백명대가 지속되고 있으나 약 80% 정도가 의학적으로 입원이 요구되지 않는 경증환자이고 의료 자원의 한계가 있는 상황으로 중증환자에 대해 적절한 치료를 제공하는데 집중하고자 향후 고령층 등 집중관리가 필요한 확진자 위주로 지원관리 체계를 재구축할 예정이라고 했다. 

향후 확진환자 중 생필품 키트를 집중 관리군 중 65세 이상 1인 가구에 한하여 지원하고, 생활지원비는 격리되어 생계활동을 하지 못한 격리자가 1명인 가구는 10만 원, 2인 이상인 가구는 15만 원을 지원할 계획이라고 했다.

그간 속초시는 코로나19 발생 이후 현재까지 270,157명 PCR검사와 31,242명의 신속항원검사를 실시했으며, 확진자 또는 격리자 2,973가구에 22억 9천만 원의 생활지원비를 지원하고 3억 원 상당의 생필품을 지원했다고 전했다.  

한편 속초시 관계자는 입원이나 재택치료 종료 후 3개월 내 생활지원비를 신청할 수 있으므로 대상자는 주소지 동주민센터에서 기한 내 신청할 것을 당부했다.
