[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 속초시 5급 이상 간부공무원들이 오미크론 확산으로 재택 치료자가 폭증함에 따라 재택 치료자 키트 배부에 나선다고 밝혔다. 

속초시는 최근 오미크론 확진자 급증으로 정부의 대응방향이 전환된 후 전 직원이 재난대응체계를 갖추고 선별 진료소 지원, 임시 생활시설 근무, 재택 치료자 키트 배부 등 코로나 19 관련 전 분야에서 분투하고 있으나, 금주 직원들이 제20대 대통령 선거업무 지원까지 나가야 하는 상황이 발생하자 늘어나는 재택 치료자 지원을 이어가고, 피로도가 상당한 직원들의 업무 부담을 덜며, 고통을 분담하기 위해 5급 이상 간부 공무원 37명이 자발적으로 솔선하여 현장근무에 투입되어 업무공백이 발생하지 않도록 노력하고 있다고 전했다.

정성훈 속초시 부시장을 필두로 간부공무원들은 4개 조로 나눠 7일부터 재택치료자에게 건강관리세트, 식품세트, 상비약 및 의약품 을 배부하는 등 1일 100여 가구를 지원할 예정이라고 했다.
