올해는 기본계획 및 시행계획 수립을 완료하고 오는 2023년 부터 년차적으로 '노후주택정비', '슬레이트 지붕철거 및 개량', '재래식 화장실정비', '주민공동시설 조성' 등을 순차적으로 추진하여 주거환경을 개선해 나간다고 했다.

군 관계자는 농어촌 취약지역 생활여건 개조사업을 통해 “농촌지역의 안전‧위생 등 생활인프라와 주민들의 정주여건이 개선되어 지역주민들의 삶의 질이 향상될 것으로 기대한다.”고 밝혔다.
