[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 20일 포천시는 자작동 소재의 두인가구가 옷장, 서랍 등 500만 원 상당의 원목가구를 기탁했다고 밝혔다.

이날 기탁한 가구는 포천종합사회복지관과 연계하여 비닐하우스, 컨테이너 등 비주택에 거주하는 아동․청소년 가정과 주거환경 개선이 필요한 가정에 우선 전달할 예정이라고 했다.

이인숙 대표는 “주거환경 개선이 필요한 어려운 가정에 조금이나마 도움이 되고자 가구를 기탁했다.”라고 소감을 밝혔다. 

박윤국 포천시장은 “누군가를 위해 마음을 나눈다는 것이 쉽지 않은데, 어려운 시기에 나눔을 실천해주셔서 깊이 감사드린다. 기부해 주신 가구는 꼼꼼하게 살펴 꼭 필요한 대상자에게 전달될 수 있도록 하겠다.”며 감사의 뜻을 전했다.
