[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 10월 28일 포천시는 청소년 정책제안 발표대회를 청소년교육문화센터에서 개최한다고 밝혔다.

청소년정책제안 발표대회에서는 ‘청소년도 참여하는 시민입니다.’라는 주제로 교육진로, 문화예술, 환경안전, 인권복지 분야 등 청소년 정책제안 공모전에서 선정된 7개 정책과 포천시 청소년 참여위원회가 제안한 1가지 정책 등 총 8개 정책을 제안한다고 했다.

포천시장, 포천시의회 의장 권한대행 부의장, 포천교육지원청 교육장이 참석해 청소년들의 정책 의견을 듣고 답변하는 소통의 시간을 가지며 향후 포천시 청소년 정책 수립에 반영할 예정이고, 오는 11월 10일까지 온라인 투표를 진행하며 투표 참여자에게는 다양한 이벤트를 진행하는 등 지역 청소년과 주민의 참여를 유도할 계획이고, 11월 28일 15시부터 포천시청소년센터 유튜브 채널에서 실시간 송출한다고 전했다.

양주시 관계자는 “청소년의 눈높이에서 지역사회 현안을 고민하고 귀 기울여 포천시를 책임질 인재로 성장할 수 있도록 다양한 참여기회를 제공하겠다.”라고 말했다.
