[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 횡성군은 중소벤처기업부 주최로 (재)장애인기업종합지원센터 서울센터에서 개최한 ‘2021년 장애인기업 서포터’ 시상식에서 장애인 기업제품 구매실적을 인정받아 중소벤처기업부 장관 기관표창을 수상했다고 밝혔다.

장애인기업 서포터는 장애인기업 제품의 우수성 홍보 및 장애인의 경제적 자립을 위해 2008년부터 시상하고 있으며, 올해 수상기관은 횡성군을 비롯하여 김제시청, 울산과학기술원, 한국장애인고용공단이며, 장애인제품 공공구매비율, 전년대비 구매비율 증가율 등 종합적으로 평가하여 선정했다고 전했다.

임광식 기업경제과장은 “우리 군은 장애인 기업의 경제적 자립과 경영안정을 위해 기업에 대한 다양한 시책을 추진하고 있다. 앞으로도 장애인 기업의 우수한 제품 구매 활성화에 적극 노력하겠다”라고 전했다.
